WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

You should bring a yoga mat and towel if you have one. We recommend also bringing a water with you into the class. Water is available for sale at the studio.

DO YOU HAVE YOGA MATS?

Yes, of course! For our unlimited monthly and annual members, yoga mats are included in your membership. Mats are also included in certain new client offers—please check with our front desk team if you aren't sure if mat rental is included. For all other yogis, you can rent a premium, non slip Manduka mat for $3. 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR CLASS?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in! Light layers are recommended for our more relaxing classes such as restorative yoga, yin yoga, and meditation; get cozy for these classes with socks and a light sweater or sweatshirt. Socks are not recommended for vinyasa flow classes. 

ARE YOU A HOT YOGA STUDIO?

We are not a hot yoga studio, we are an awesome yoga studio! Our studio room is maintained at about 75 degrees Fahrenheit most of the time.

Select classes may be offered as "warm" (heated to 80 degrees) and will be specified as such on our schedule.

I'M BRAND NEW TO YOGA, WHAT CLASSES ARE GOOD FOR BEGINNERS?

All of our classes are open to students of all levels. However, we do offer classes that are more geared towards beginners. Our Foundational Flow class is a slower paced vinyasa class that will provide extra instruction, more one-on-one attention, and modifications. We also recommend yin yoga & restorative yoga for a relaxing experience, well suited for beginners.

CAN I USE MY PHONE IN CLASS?  

It is our policy to not use a phone or other device in the studio room. If you need to use the phone, you can do so in the reception area.

 

Once entering the studio, we kindly ask that you place your phone on silent and leave it in a cubby. This helps to maintain a peaceful & respectful environment for everyone in the space, including you! We encourage you to take a short amount of time to disconnect and to stay present, as part of the yoga experience.

If you believe you have an extenuating circumstance that requires access to a cell phone (ex. health or family emergency), please speak with our front desk team regarding the best solutions. 

I'M EXPECTING A BABY, CAN I TAKE A REGULAR CLASS? 

Yes, we allow and encourage all pregnant parents to come take class! Depending on your experience level, any of our class types can be accessible, with proper modifications and by listening to your body. All of our teachers are well versed on how to modify for pregnancy. And, if you'd like to get a head start towards feeling safe and supported, visit our prenatal modifications guide here. Please be sure to arrive to class early and let the instructor know you are expecting so they can support you best. 

HOW DO I USE A MEMBER GUEST PASS?

Unlimited monthly members receive 1 guest pass per month to bring a friend to class. Annual unlimited members receive 12 guest passes per year. Guests should be new to the studio and live locally to Hudson County. 

 

You can sign up your guest when you go to book by selecting "Add someone else" on the Momence app. Desktop users will see a toggle that says "Want to bring guests?" which you can turn on to use your benefit.

Our front desk team can also help you with booking a guest, so please ask us at the studio if you need assistance!

DO YOU HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?

Yes! In order to earn referral credits, send any friends who are NEW to Asana Soul Practice your unique referral link from the Momence app or website. On the app, this can be found under "Refer & Earn." On desktop, you will see a button that says "Recommend a host."

For every $130 your friend spends at Asana Soul Practice, you will earn a $25 referral bonus.

Your bonus can be applied to any purchase, now including monthly membership payments.

LATE CANCEL/NO SHOW FEE INFO

There is a $15 late cancel/no show fee in the event that you do not early cancel your reservation or do not show up. There is a 2 hour window before the start of class for you to early cancel your reservation. If you miss this window of time, or do not show up for class, you will be charged a late cancel fee. If you are a class pack holder or have purchased a drop in, you will lose the class, however you will not be charged an additional fee. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M LATE TO CLASS?

There are no late entries for any meditation class. For yoga classes, there is a 5 minute grace period. However, please note, we will allow additional waitlisted clients into the class at the time of start if there are late cancels or no shows. If the class then becomes full, you will not be able to enter the class late. 

IF I'M ON A WAITLIST, HOW DO I KNOW IF I GOT INTO THE CLASS? 

If you are on the waitlist, please look out for a text message or email notifying you that a spot has become available. You will automatically be booked into class based on your position on the waitlist.

I'M AN UNLIMITED MONTHLY MEMBER AND HAVE: TRAVEL PLANS, INJURY, ETC. CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?

Yes. Monthly unlimited members are permitted one complimentary freeze per 12 month period. Memberships can be frozen anywhere from a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 3 months. Memberships cannot be frozen for a period of time shorter than one month.

Benefits of freezing a membership:

- Your membership price will be held and not subject to any potential price increases.

- Return to the studio and your practice seamlessly and without disruption.
