A VIRTUAL VISION BOARDING WORKSHOP: THURSDAY, APRIL 2 7:30pm to 9pm
ENVISION YOUR FUTURE!
Vision Boarding with Julianne De Pol
Join us on Thursday April 2nd for a chance to dive deeper into the self and discover what truly makes you happy through meditation, journaling and crafting a vision board. This is the time for YOU. This is the time for reflection and reassessment on what truly makes you happy. Together, during this virtual workshop, we will look within and paint the world we want to live in.
To continue to practice social distancing, we will use household items to construct your board. Save your cardboard boxes & paper shopping bags. Collect magazines, newspapers or even photos you might have lying around. Grab your colored pencils, markers, tape & maybe some wine! Also, make sure to have a journal or paper & a pen for your post meditation thoughts.
By fully feeling the benefits of pausing in the present, we can visualize the future and create something beautiful and inspiring. Connect with others, laugh, have fun getting crafty and practice thinking positive with our fellow community.

THE YOGA SUTRAS: BOOK CLUB & DISCUSSION
Join Lauren Hemley for a four part series to dive into the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The Yoga Sutras are an important text of yoga philosophy and a prescription for the yogic path set forth by Sri Patanjali in four padas, or chapters. Each session will begin with a 10 minute meditation inspired by the pada of the day. Then we will have a guided discussion looking at both the overall message of the pada as well as details and depth of select verses. The direction of the discussion will be based on the interests and questions of the group. We will end with a 5 minute meditation in order to feel and integrate the messages from the text.
To get the most out of this workshop:
It is recommended that you read the Sutras (verses) of the pada prior to the workshop. Please note that you can easily read only the sutras without all of the commentary in a short amount of time. In most versions, the sutra is either bold or italicized and the following commentary is in regular font. It is also recommended to sign up for the entire series.
HOWEVER, you can definitely drop in to individual sessions AND you can come without having read anything. The material is deep and extremely relevant to all seekers.
This is the version of the text that I will use primarily, since it is part of the ASP teacher training curriculum:
I will also be using and referring to the following translation:
Feel free to read/purchase either of these.
There are many other lovely translations and commentaries. Any questions, please contact Lauren at firstname.lastname@example.org
