I was lucky enough to join the Yin Yoga 50 hour training provided by Asana Soul Practice in January of 2018.  Lucianna Silvestri was a wealth of knowledge and led the training with exuberance and passion for the topic. Lucianna opened the door to a new style of yoga teaching for me.I have incorporated yin sequences into all of my classes since completion of the training.  The benefits of the yin training and the concept that yin affects not only our body, but also our soul and mind was enlightening. Learning to slow down and relax into a pose, to be less active and more passive while allowing your body to rest on that edge of comfort and discomfort is a vital component to the Yin practice and one that I learned to embrace throughout the training.  Lucianna’s teaching incorporates the poses of a Yin practice: how important of a role your fascia plays, the meridians in our bodies, and the chakras. Learning about each of these components and how they all are at work in our practice provided a deeper level of comprehension for me. This training enhanced my personal and professional yoga practice.

Lucianna’s Yin Yoga Teacher Training is pure magic. It urges you to dig deep and rethink any limiting beliefs you may have about the mind-body connection. Her teachings will gently guide you to back to the idea that “everything is allowed.” Through that principle, Lucianna will guide you to discover your own voice as a yin yoga teacher. Whether you are a beginner or a veteran yogi, this training will open your heart and provide you with all the tools you need to share this beautiful practice with the world.
