WHAT IS YIN YOGA?
Yin yoga is a quiet, healing, and meditative practice. In this style of yoga, we slowly and gently stretch the connective tissues of the body, over time gaining more flexibility as well as increasing the range of motion and lubrication in the joints. This practice gives us the time and space to go inward and learn to reconnect with the present moment and ourselves.
YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
In this yin yoga teacher training we will explore the practice and experience of yin yoga, understand the history and concepts of yin yoga, and learn how to effectively teach this subtle but powerful style of yoga, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of the practice and its theory and the confidence to teach yin to your students.
Notes!
Space is limited to 15 people, be sure to reserve your space as soon as possible.
Proof of vaccination is required in order to attend training mask-free.
Outside of the weekend training, you are required to take 2 yin yoga classes at our studio. There is also about 3 hours total of homework and reading materials.
Must be 200HR certified in order to go on to teach yin yoga. If you are not 200HR certified, this is a great way to deepen your yin practice and integrate the teachings of yin yoga into your day-to-day life.
